We do need to keep in mind that correlation does not equal causation. It could be coincidence.

Yes, of course. It is one of those interesting little tidbits to expand personal insight. I don't mind a few 'grains of salt' in my diet for spice
Here is a survey that was undertaken: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11294146

The results suggest that a critical period for setting the biological clock for alertness may be the moment of birth.

I still (usually) need a long time before I actually fall asleep. However, I think my sleep is "deeper" now (and I think I also sleep a bit longer than I used to after I do fall asleep), and I also had less totally sleepless nights since I bought the Procyon (actually only one, and I had eaten something unhealthy in the evening which made me sick, so there was a physical cause for that totally sleepless night...). Also, maybe it is weird, but I usually need a longer insomnia session, and after that if I still have major problems after 60-90 minutes I try another insomnia session (the shortest one, just 15 minutes) and then I usually feel more like falling asleep... I don't know why I need two sessions, but I guess everyone must find out what works best for them... Sometimes the second session works almost instantaneously.
