I have lost my stereo audio cable (I think that is the right name, I used it to connect my cd player to the aux port of the Proteus). Can you advise me on a replacement.

You should be able to get a replacement at any place that sells consumer electronics.

Hey, if someone makes a good post, don't forget to click at the bottom of their post to add to their reputation!
It is a 3.5mm (1/8") standard stereo audio cable. If you are hooking to an mp3 player or smartphone get a 1 foot cable. For a computer go as long as you need or get a female to male extension cable. Shorter is a bit better for quality and cable management.
If you know something I don't, speak up! If maybe I know something you don't, ask away!
Thanks
I have this cable from Amazon: Startech Right Angled 1 ft 3.5mm M/M Right angled connectors are nice and save a little space.
Note: there is no technical reason that to a noticeable degree a shorter cable would be better than a longer. More so, it is so the cables don't get tangled as much. Easier to manage this way.
