Do you have the editor downloaded and installed?
It is available here: Proteus Editor 2.5.1
The manual for the editor is here: Proteus Session Editor Manual 2.5.1

Yes I do have the editor downloaded and installed, thank you.
I have to read the Proteus Session Editor Manual 2.5.1 over.
And following the directions in the manual, I can download some sessions that you have on your site that I don't already have that came with the proteus?

Yes, that's correct.
The important thing is to make sure that you know which COM port you're plugged into on the computer and that you select that COM port # in the Proteus Editor.

That post is referring to USB to RS-232 adapters, but it's the same procedure. Just look for the COM port numbers.
You can also just try them one by one in the editor. Settings are under the menu "Serial Port"/"Set Comm Port".
Start at COM1 and click on "View Realtime" and then "Run Segment" and see if the Proteus responds. If not, try COM2 and so on.
