Thread: Procyon red colour?

  1. Default Procyon red colour?

    My procyon isn't showing the red leds in the glasses - it hasn't done this since I received it. Blue and green working great

    Seems to be a problem either with the lightframe connector into the procyon/ or cable fault

    All help useful on resolving this - not sure what else i can do

    Many thanks

    Hello;

    Sometimes the connector doesn't fit securely into the socket.

    Here's a suggestion:

    Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks... tried that but the connector is pretty tight now and still same problem.

    Waggling the cable at a certain point makes the red light come on so think it's a cable problem - incidentally when the red does light it seems three times the brightness of the blue or green also so not sure if that is another indication.

    Will see if I can get a replacement ganzframes sent to me (or if the connector is a standard part from electronics stores i might just fit a new one - can you clarify this?).

    Also considering the ganzframes adaptor kit for using my proteus glasses

    Many thanks

    Send me a PM (Private message) with where and when you purchased the Procyon, your address, phone # and e-mail, and we'll see about getting you some replacement lightframes.

    Andy.. I have a ProCyon I get no red light just blue and green, I had this bought for me last year as a present, but the person who bought it is now no longer with us so I could not send it back for repair.I put it away and did not use it however I would like to. The red light is not visible at all. can you give me the specs I have a twin beam scope so I will try to see where the problen lies in the cable or in the controller connector or in the driver..

    Regards T.J.N.
