Well I checked it out and the Audistrobe section of Neuroprogrammer 2 definately doesn't have the functionality of Audiostrobe Designer.
But in the meantime I contacted Tomas Cerny ( AudioStrobe Designer ) and though he is no longer developing the software it is still for sale from Audiostrobe.com The owners are on summer holiday which explains why they are not answering.
However Tomas suggested I look at the new Transparentcorps 'Mind Workstation' as being potentially more useful . I downloaded the demo and the basic version does indeed have most of the functionality of Audiostrobe Designer for audiostrobe encoding. I can't yet see how to adjust the duty cycle of th elights on th efly, although you can put in blocks of data where you design the waveform for the lights.
More exciting is that the software supports a number of biofeedback devices. I may well be able to control the AS flash frequency and tone with my Wild Divine Lightstone biofeedback device.
At $199 USD this software looks to have more utility than AS Designer, but can't confirm yet if it has as good functionality for AS encoding music .
