Hi,
I am considering building a breakout box for the kasina to either connect two pair of glasses and phones or a led bar.
I am not sure if I really want to go into this as my eletrotechnicsskills are moderate and mainly from modding synthesizers and building / designing simple Eurorack modules and I recently had to make space at my place and threw everything away except the scope, multimeter and soldering iron.
As there is a schematic for the procyron already in place I would take this as a start but it would be great if I could get some info on what comes out of what.
Is the connector for the glasses utilizing positive and negative current to drive 6 led's (3 per eye) on a 4 channel connection?
Could you give me some info on the gain of the signals etc?
I was thinking of utilizing an optocoupler like in the procyron example for the led signals and go into an op amp to multiply and go into an op amp with the audio directly.
With the mult audio I would feed the phones
With the optocoupled and mult light signals drive the led's
I suppose it doesn't make sense to take both glasses channels as without glasses eye separation doesn't work.
Also I am not sure whether it makes sense to configure the op amp for amplification of the signal or use transistors behind to deal with it.
I might also add a usb port for charging as my battery is dying slowly.
Not sure if this is woth the effort. Need to find suitable led strips on ali express.
If anyone has done something like that before I would love to get some info.
As you can tell I am a rookie when it comes to electrotechnics but the idea of just lying there instead of wearing glasses is very nice.
Cheers,
Jens
