How To Turn Off Display in USr Mode

Is there a way to turn off the display when the unit is operating in USr (user) mode? I like having the freedom to use a single frequency and not have a set time, but the buzzing sound that pulses along with the flashing decimal points is absolutely annoying. Thanks...

Are you running version 3.2?

No, looks like it's still version 2.8

You might want to update, but I'm not sure if even then that the display can be turned off in manual mode.

There won't be any updates for this device, as they have been discontinued, so likely your only options are:
1. Create a session using the editor that has the frequency you like (create several if you have several frequencies you'd like). When playing a session you can turn off the display.
2. Upgrade to a Procyon or Kasina
