hi all,
I found this party glasses on amazon. It is another cool concept close to AVS goggles. They have transparent Frame through which LED light falls onto eyes. They are cheap too. Less than $3. They are good for kids to experience light AVS experience.

Today, I used it with bineural tones, it is almost same AVS experience. Of course. it is not AVS. Some one who has can not afford AVS machine, they have this alternative for so cheap. It has button cells, mus be replaceable with little know how.

The problem with them is you can't be sure exactly the frequency you are entraining to, changing the batteries could be a problem, and they don't seem to last long according to some reviewers on Amazon.

If you can't afford a Mindplace AVS, how about checking out the net for alternative DIY projects. For example http://www.instructables.com/id/MAKE...machine-Cheap/ that has a manually adjustable frequency, or something more complicated with programmable sequences like http://archive.makezine.com/10/brainwave/
