    Default In-Ear or regular headphones

What do people use? Most (if not all) MP3 players these days come with in-ear earphones instead of headphones, but some people prefer regular over-the-ear or on-the-ear headphones.

    What do you all like?

    -Andy.

    Hey Andy,

Two more options required - speakers and all of the above.

All depends where I am, what time of day (ambient noise) and whether it's sound or light I'm most interested in for a particular session. When not using binaurals, it's kind of nice to just lay back with glasses without having to worry about headphones at all, and for sleep sessions speakers at the head of the bed are just perfect.

    Cheers,
    Craig

Thanks, Craig. You're a true enthusiast!

I modified the poll a little as I'm trying to see if people just use the headphones that are supplied or would prefer in-ears. If in-ears are more popular then it might make sense to include them with the consoles rather than regular headphones.

Ahhh, I see. This is not the matter of casual interest it first appeared

A small consideration - hygiene. In-ears are all very nice for personal use, but there's no way I'll let anyone else stick them in their ears, and I find the MP headphones absolutely perfect for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Craig

Another thought, if you end up staying with on-ear headphones, single cable entry makes cable tangle a lot less of a problem.

Hello All - I always use over-the-ear, but on-the-ear headphones are also OK. In the ear are uncomfortable and unhygienic. Allan.
