Thread: TSUB3410 Driver For Windows 7

  1. Default TSUB3410 Driver For Windows 7

    Hey,

I am beta testing Windows 7 and I need the TI TUSB3410 driver.
The one that works on Vista will not work on Windows 7.
You get an error pop up saying: Setup Copy OEMInf Failed With Error 0x2
Then when you close the error popup box another popup box says: setup has finished installing TSUB3410 Driver to your computer.
I know Its Beta, but Its not far from being the finished release.

    HELP!!!

FYI: Windows 7 Is very fast and runs my games better than ever.
    This OS is Wonderful!!!

I'm curious to know why you think a vendor would publicly support an unreleased, unsupported, unpromised operating system. IMHO MindPlace would be out of their mind to get into that sort of thing with any but a few select beta testers.

    Cheers,
    Craig

    Cheers, Craig.

There isn't even a driver for any x64 OS, so I don't think a driver for anything past Vista x32 is likely.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks for answering my question Andy.
The thing is that x64 is the future of computing.
    Then x128 etc etc.
In a few years X32 will be like Analog TV Transmissions...Gone.

1st of all Hi all, and excuse me my bad english.

I was using Proteus for many years, and now i am happy user of Procyon for about 4-5 months.
I will wrote more about me and my expirience with those great machines in some other threads, now i just wanted to say this without opening new thread.

Procyon drivers and software are working with Win 7 32bit.
Few minutes ago I was able to upload session to Procyon, and it is working, after I finsh this post I am going to try it full (Marcus meditation).

One note, if you were upgrading from Vista to 7 (by upgrade i mean no clean install but real upgrade without uninstalling Vista) you will maybe need to reinstall editor and drivers, but after that all is same like it was on Vista. I know i had to reinstall, that is why i know that, and I am running RC Win 7 not even Final version.

I was just thinking this is good news for users, due the fact win 7 is out now, and many people will ask that question.

Now i am going to "Marcus land"

    Best regards,

    Necastivi

Its good to hear that at least one user has the TUSB3410 version of the Procyon working with Windows 7! We've ordered copies of that OS and will start testing once we've installed them.

I've just checked the Texas Instruments site, and their information is ambigous; in place they indicate that Win 7 drivers are available, but in the actual download link, they don't mention Win 7. I've downloaded it but won't be able to test on my current XP system. Link:
