    Default Thermion as audiostrobe controller

a friend of mine has a thermion

I think it would be awesome to convert it to a realtime controller!

    I assume you're referring to a Theremin

It should be possible to tune the theremin output to a fixed 19kHz and use hand proximity to vary only the amplitude. That would provide a single channel of Audiostrobe signal. I'm not sure what the state of the art is in Theremins these days, but from what I know of early devices, two would be required, set up as suggested, to provide the full standard 2-colour AS.

    Cheers,
    Craig
