Newbie need info !

Hello everyone!

I`m a newbie and I am very interrested to get the proteus.
I would like to have more information regarding the machine itself ! Does the machine play music or will I be able to connect the proteus to my Ipod to listen to my own music?
Also, will I be able to download the audiostrob CD to my Ipod and connect it to the proteus?

I live in Canada, where can I get it here?

The Proteus does not have an internal music player. You can easily connect an external CD or MP3 player to the Proteus, though, and play music and/or audiostrobe-encoded CDs.

Also, will I be able to download the audiostrob CD to my Ipod and connect it to the proteus?

I'm not sure whether the audiostrobe information will survive the encoding process to AAC format, but it will survive MP3 conversion, as long as you use a med-high bitrate (192k or higher)

I though I would post an update since I post my first question.
