Thread: New Kasina user

Question: Can anyone direct me to past threads that discuss the best protocol (sessions, etc) to use prior to starting your workday? Anyone with thoughts on:

Alpha vs Theta vs Gamma, etc.

A track/session that works best for pre-sales (I am in the sales profession) priming?

I would guess it would be more Gamma sessions. Thoughts?

Everyone is different. Best policy is to try a few sessions and see which ones work best for you!

    @Vonlehmd,

I think that Beta (SMR) and Gamma would be a good idea to look into.
Alpha and Theta would not really be optimal for your situation, because you want to get aroused and not zoned out.
Although it can be handy to use some type of relaxation technique while using Beta (SMR) or Gamma, that way you condition your self to operate in a relaxed state while being (focused) in Beta. Prior the session doing a PMR (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) and during the session 6-6-6-6 (box breathing or 4-7-8. And keep your attention on the light, that way you tell your subconsciousness that you have interest in the frequency.

(6-6-6-6) Inhale for 6 seconds, hold for 6 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds and hold empty lungs for 6 seconds.
(4-7-8) Inhale for 4 seconds, hold 7 for seconds, and exhale for 7 seconds.

PMR should be done 2x a day for 2 weeks and 1x a day for 4 weeks according to this doctor.

Robert Bruce got a book it's called 'Astral Dynamics' in that book he teaches a very good PMR routine. You can find a free published version on the web.

    Sessions:
Here are a bunch of sessions that our Joe Verona has made. he knows he stuff!

Information that Joe commented on a different question on the Fb group:

SMR will give the most benefits in the long run, and should be your base. Gamma is good for nonverbal tasks such as math. Gamma can be stimulating and may effect sleep if used too often or late at night. Upper beta is for intense concentration and increasing cognition. Upper beta can affect sleep as well, and can aggravate anxiety. Think of SMR being like cardio, and upper beta and gamma as weight lifting for the brain.

Low beta (SMR) 12-15 Hz- produces relaxed focus state, continued use can help improve sleep and resist stress.
Upper beta 16- 21 Hz- produces intense concentration state. Continued use can increase IQ.
High beta 22-30 Hz- can cause anxiety and may spark a panic attack. Dont go there. Entrainment in this range has been used as a covert weapon to disrupt the mental states of diplomats.
Gamma 30- 140 Hz- some charts start gamma at 25 Hz. Gamma appears in short bursts of activity rather than a baseline of activity. Gamma seems to be the interpreter, allowing areas of the brain that operate at different frequencies to work together. Most TV screens and monitors flicker at 60 Hz, as well as electromagnetic radiation.
