Beginner looking for general advice

Hi kind folks,
I recently bought a Kasina with Deepvision glasses and as a new user, I'm getting a bit lost in what to do and want to learn more - my primary goal is meditation (and then explore other areas). I've tried a few sessions a few times and didn't notice anything - I do understand it will take a while and I should just relax and keep practicing - I've looked at the user guide, a few posts here and FB, but would love a bit more overview and context on - how the brain works (different waves, how do the lights/sound affect it, what are some good sessions to start with, etc).
Are there any good resources / posts ? Maybe good to sticky some of that content.
