Thread: Sirius LEDs. Do they flicker completely on/off

  1. Default Sirius LEDs. Do they flicker completely on/off

I grew up using a PR-2. I've recently got back into AVS and purchased a Luma 10. It uses light weave technology that, among other things, gently pulses the lights, more like an extreme dimmer modulation. I'm still deciding if I prefer this effect or not.
I'm thinking about buying a Sirius unit pretty soon here, mostly for audiostrobe programs. I wanted to know if the lights are a complete on/off flicker, or are gradual? I'm assuming they're on/off as that's pretty much standard, but wanted to make sure.

    Welcome!

The Sirius can be on/off or gradual, depending on the AudioStrobe signal or the program you're using.

Thanks for your response Andy, that's good to know! What I'd like to know then, is do you know how many of the system preset programs use gradual vs on/off technology?
