    Default ThoughtStream USB Installation

    Hi Andy,

    I am having problem connecting TS to my PC. The driver & TS interface software are installed but when I tried to start a session the PC did not receive any data from the TS. I have tried all the available com ports, incl. the com port that (under device manager) the Silicon Labs USB to UART Bridge is connected to, but still unsuccessful.

    Even when selecting the com port when using MG, the MG software scanned through all 16 com ports but none was working.

    Please help. Thank you.

    No exclamation marks in the Ports section of Device Manager?
    What com port is shown in Device Manager?

    No, there is no exclamation mark. Device manager is showing com4. BTW, I am using windows 7.

    Hi Andy,

    I managed to get the TS connected to my work PC at the office. It uses Windows XP.

    I am going to try it on my son's PC tomorrow which uses Windows 7. I'll inform the outcome in due course.

    That's great. Let me know how you make out. I'd like to know why it didn't work with your Win7 machine.
