Pressing the bottom (up/down) button during a session (A 1- A 8)

Hi there,

by accident, I pressed the bottom (up/down) button during a session which seems to switch from A 1, A2 ... to A 8 - at least, that is what is on the display. Can't seem to find it in the manual though!? Anyone knows what it is doing?

A0-A8 is the setting for the volume of the external audio.
