Flashing Lights
:BangHead: Need help/input on a problem that has developed with my Procyon. When I put the unit into AS anl mode the lights begin to flash without any AS input. They also continue to flash after the session is over and the CD has stoped.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Flashing Lights
Hi Charles;
Probably the noise floor (gate) setting is set too low.
Have a look at this information which, although is geared towards NP2 setup, also shows how to properly set up the analog AS mode of the Procyon.

Let me know if that doesn't help.

Re: Flashing Lights
I will try that. But why would this start now? It was not happening before and I have not changed anything.

Re: Flashing Lights
Some possibilities:
Batteries are low?
CD volume level is different?
Different CD or CD player?
Ground loop?

Re: Flashing Lights
Tryed the fix that was suggested. Used "step 3" to adjust the AS sensitivity.
Nothing happened when trying to adjust the NGT level. Seems worse than before now.
Also now as I go to switch to the AS setting 1CC then ERR appear on the display before going to each setting.
Ps.
Batteries are new
CD player is the same
CDs are the same
am not hooked up to the computer or ac adapter

Re: Flashing Lights
If you get ERR on the display, then something is wrong with the OS.
Please try updating the OS again. (assuming you updated it previously)
Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Re: Flashing Lights
Up loaded the OS to the Procyon again. Now all seems to be working fine again. That fix worked great:banana: . Thanks for the help:)

The unit acted up again. Even had buzing on the audio channel. Found the problem and the solution. THE BATTERIES HAD RUN DOWN. Put new batteries in the Procyon and no more error messages and no more problems with AS. :eusa_dance: :hello2:  :eusa_dance: :hello2:
