Re: questions regarding Procyon usage
Just purchased a Procyon after much deliberation between this and MindSpa.
Delighted with my choice but have a question. The MindSpa lists a series of simple programs for different ' use requirements' and I would like some advice on which Procyon programs are nearest. The MindSpa list is as follows:
I. Cognition: Learning, Memory, Focus, Performance
Preparing for a busy day (programs 1, and 10)
Creating a laser focus (programs 1, 10, 11, and 12)
Quality studying (programs 2, 3, 4, and 9)
Memory recall (programs 3, 4, 5, and 9)
Calming a busy mind (program 12)
Uplifting your mood (programs 2, 3, and 11)
Language learning (programs 3, 4, 5, and 9)
Exercising (programs 9, and 10)
II. The Arts: Inspiration, Creative Process
Inspiration (programs 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8)
Creative arts (programs 3, 4, 5, and 6)
III. Meditative: Meditative Practice, Tai Chi/Qigong
Faster and deeper meditation (programs 4, and 12)
Tai Chi/Qigong practice (programs 4, 7, and 12)
Energy balancing/body work (programs 3, 6, and 12)
Hopefully I have not upset anyone (the moderator) with this post but in these early days this simplified list is helpful.
Thanks

Well that was a good move. I have nothing good to say about the MindSpa or it's owner.

Okay. What I'll do is tell you which target group of frequencies you want to help achieve this state and you can look at the program descriptions that I've attached to this document and match it up.

Creating a laser focus (SMR/Beta)
Quality studying (Alpha, Alpha/Theta)

II. The Arts: Inspiration, Creative Process

Creative arts (Same as above)

As long as you don't say the words "MindSpa" too often I won't turn into devil woman. :icon_pirat:

Re: questions regarding Procyon usage
Many thanks for your extremely helpful reply. I will sort the programs out as you suggest - actually a good learning curve to help get to know the Procyon.
Without mentioning the ***!, I originally thought that the open glasses might be better for me as I wear gas-permeable contact leneses and need to blink reasonably frequently. At the time I wondered if the Procyon glasses would be a problem as the manual says to keep eyes closed. In fact it is no problem at all - I just open my eyes and blink rapidly and that's fine. Also, I find that it is possible to see through the glasses prior to switching on (or even during a session). I guess this negates a few more ***! perceived advantages.
Hope this might help other 'undecided' purchasers who happen to wear hard leneses.
Again, thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.
