			  	   Visual Segment Designer v2.00
(formerly known as Visual Segment Developer)

Features:
- Duplicates the Procyon Editor's settings
- Uploads frequency, amplitude, dc offset, duty cycle and phase to Procyon Editor via the FREE AutoHotKey application (http://www.autohotkey.com/)
- Allows individual color channels to be turned on or off
- Allows selection of sine, triangle or square wave for color channel waveforms
- Generates waveforms, including changes in frequency, amplitude, dc offset, duty cycle (square wave only), phase and sweeptime (limited to 10s)
- Generates a 256 level color gradient, based on the resultant combination of one or more of the RGB color channels
- Color gradient can be enabled or disabled
- Randomize values - let's you "play" - you can select which variables get randomized and set UPPER and lower limits for randomization ranges
- Reverse values - "flips" the start and stop fields just as the Procyon Editor does when hitting
  	F3 (new segment)
- Save to PDF - to reference later when entering values into the Procyon Editor
- Pre-defined brainwave frequencies - based on:
Gamma 30 - 60Hz (Consciousness, anasthesia stops this frequency range production)
Beta 13 - 30Hz (Active, busy, anxious thinking and active concentration)
    	Alpha 7 - 13Hz (Relaxation (while awake))
Theta 4 - 7Hz (Dreams, deep meditation, hypnosis)
    	Delta <4Hz (Deep, dreamless sleep)
Schumann 7.83Hz (Resonant frequency of earth between surface and ionosphere)

In order to run this Excel 2007 tool, you must enable macros by doing the following:
- Go to the Office Button, then Excel Options
- Check Show Developer tab in the Ribbon, then click OK
- Click the Developer tab, then Macro Security which opens the Trust Center
- Click Macro Settings on the left
- Click the Enable all macros.... radio button, then click OK

Instructions:
- Brainwave frequency pre-defined values - allows you to select between variable frequency
range (IE - 30-60Hz for Gamma) or continuous (IE - avg 45Hz for Gamma)
- Default resets all values to the Procyon Editor defaults, with waveforms & gradient off
- Randomize populates each field with a random value within the user-defined UPPER and lower range for each variable. You can also choose which variables get randomized
- Save to PDF saves a "snapshot" of the current variables, waveforms, and gradient, then
opens the pdf file for viewing. The file is saved in 'My Documents' with the name
format of VSD_YYYYMMDD_HHMM.pdf. Please, make sure to have the latest Windows and
Excel patches in order for this feature to function properly.
- Start generates the waveforms and gradient dependent on which channel's check boxes are
selected and if the gradient check box is selected
- Reverse "flips" the start and stop fields as mentioned in features above
- Upload to Procyon via the FREE AutoHotKey application (http://www.autohotkey.com/). Procyon Editor must be running

** Note that the tool will open with the saved worksheets and graphs, not defaults **
(Click Defaults if you wish to start with the Procyon Editor start values)

ENJOY!
