Updating OS

What is the process for updating to the new OS? How long should the update process take?

The OS is updated using the Procyon Session editor. The Editor and the manual for it are here: http://www.mindplacesupport.com/Procyon.htm

It takes about 30 seconds to update. Very easy.

Hi Andy,
I have downloaded the editor from the site Version 2.2.05
I have downloaded the update file Procyon 2160
I have connected the unit throught the USB com 6 and opened it for communication.
The editor opens and I go to utilities to update the OS.
One item appears in menu version 2145
Where is the new OS?
I have the hiss ,the noise and I would like to be able to get the new OS.
I am running windows vista

Hi Ed;

Did you unzip the 2.1.6 OS file? Wherever you unzipped the file is where you should point the editor when you click the "Update OS" command.

Did you try to update a Rev1 Procyon with the Rev2 OS?

Please go here and read the instructions very carefully, especially where it tells you what console each update refers to.

I could repair the procyon. Pressing play+arrows+turn on in the display is "DL1". I reinstalled the software, and my Pc detects the procyon. I installed the S.O. version 1.7.6.
The procyon now works fine.
