Thread: Broken Procyon!

  1. Default Broken Procyon!

My fairly new Procyon seems to have broken. I was using it, running one of the longer "night voyage" sessions, was almost asleep, when the Procyon started making a load steady noise instead of the regular binural beats. Seemed like the lights got weird too, but not sure since they were still blinking. Anyway, the noise was too annoying to continue, so I turned the machine off. Then turned it back on, and when I did I could hear a very noticeable humming (with no session started), which wasn't there before. In fact I was very pleased when I got my Procyon to find that it was very silent when turned on.
So I've tried other sessions, but the hum is always there and I also can detect it in the session itself. So far every session I've tried seems to start out okay (except for the bit of hum) and go on for awhile as it should, then suddenly "get stuck" or whatever and gives this loud steady noise.
It's still under warranty, so where do I send it, and do I just send the unit or whole thing with glasses, earphones, etc.

Try some new, fresh, alkaline batteries or try it USB powered.
