Thread: static noise

    Default static noise

    I *really* love my Procyon. Recently, however, there has been noise when the glasses are on. If I turn them off to where there is no light there is no noise, but unfortunately there is a popping noise every time a light flashes.

    It really distracts from the experience.

    How can I go about getting this fixed via warranty. My unit is still under 90 days old, so I need to get this taken care of right away.

    Thanks!

    Hi Wings;

    Let's just make sure that there's actually something wrong with your console.

    You say that this just started recently. Have you changed anything at all about the way you're using the console?

    Are you running the Procyon from batteries or USB power?

    If your batteries are low or you are connected to a PC while feeding audio from that same PC into the Procyon (without a ground-loop isolator) you can get those sounds.

    Let me know.

    -Andy.

    Andy,

    New batteries fixed it. I should have tried that myself.

    Thanks for the fast reply and help!

    You should use Alkalines not rechargeables for best performance.
