Thread: Brightness zero level

    Default Brightness zero level

    I was wondering if it is possible to have lightframes range flickering not from zero to maximum but from some user defined level to maximum. In other words, not to shut the lights off completely but to let them stay at certain level.

    Just checked this feature in Brainwave generator via AS mode, REALLY works for me, very useful if your eyes are tired and you don't want to overstimulate them. It would be nice to have it without external sources though.

    From technical point of view I think it is not difficult at all.

    Hi Denden;

    This function is possible on the Procyon using the DC offset parameter. I'm pretty sure the DC offset parameter is not available on the Proteus.

    Any chances it will be on Proteus with next update?
    It could be implemented as a global parameter (the same way as duty cycle control) ?

    I don't think it can. The Procyon is a more advanced device with more capabilities.
    The Proteus was built many years ago and is getting to the limit of it's capabilities already. It has features well past it's original design specifications.
    Maybe time for an upgrade?
