There was, a group that wanted to file a lawsuit because they purchased ?lifetime licenses? to use their products, and then abandoned them by taking the server down. It never went anywhere, probably not enough money to get an attorney to take on consignment. I do not know of any privacy leaks or harm caused by the software.

Best to lay Transparent to rest. Using a DAW produces much better quality sound and with the new plugins being released, there really isn?t much MWS could do that you can?t do with a DAW.
