Thread: The built-in editor: pitch, beat and fade. Help :)

  1. Question The built-in editor: pitch, beat and fade. Help :)

    Hey!

Thanks for making this awesome thing. I've had my Kasina for a couple of years now but discovered the built-in editor just recently! Awesome!

But can someone enlighten me on the three adjustments you can make in the editor and how they relate to eachother? Not the KBS editor, I mean the one in the actual machine.

For instance, I'm interested in delta waves, so I put the first setting on 3 Hz. What would be an ideal setting for the other two?

    Best wishes

    Hello!

We call that Feature the "Manual Control" to differentiate it from the Editor that runs on your computer.

The other settings are as you like. Whatever you feel works best for you.
Pitch will change the frequency of the tone you hear (nothing to do with entrainment), just pick a number that's pleasant to you.
Phase changes whether the lights flash together or alternate. Again, whatever you prefer.
Colorset changes which colours flash. Whatever ones you would like!

    Enjoy!
    -Andy.

If nothing else, a timer would be a perfect addition to the manual function.
