Thread: Best brain synchronicity protocol

    Default Best brain synchronicity protocol

Hello, very new here to mindplace forums ... excited as I am now about to get my first kasina .... I had used neuroprogrammer years ago, but was heartbroken to find that it was unusable/broken, not to mention the company shutting down. Anyway, mindplace looks to be a much more reliable experience, even though i hope to eventually find a way to get back neuroprogrammer3.

My question is .... I previously used neuroprogrammer to induce better brain synchronicity (i have experienced some very painful health related issues due to what doctors have described as asynchronicity of neural hemispheres. I have been praying for better health, but it is time to move forward in other ways proactively).

For the experienced out there ... What are the best products, both mindsupport and others, as well as other approaches out there for quickly and powerfully enducing brain health through synchronicity of the hemispheres? What will be my best protocol for Kassina use?

    Thank you so much

All forms of BWE will promote hemispheric balancing, however some feel that binaural beats are best suited for this as it takes both hemispheres to work together to produce the "beat". A recent study confirmed this, particularly at 15 Hz. I have found flashing lights along with the binaural beat to be quite effective for overall brain well being.

If you know what hemisphere needs boosting, and/ or which needs calming, you can create split hemisphere sessions that target each hemisphere separately using light and isochronic tones. Most often in the case of depression and ADD/ADHD, that entails calming an overactive right (emotional) brain, and boosting a lethargic left (analytic) brain.

We are all so different that this almost an impossible question.
Have you been diagnosed by a neurologist? Had a fMRI?
Have you been tested for latency issues? Identified the hemisphere?
Very young children can distinguish 300ms to 400ms difference if visual activity is not accompanied by simultaneous aural activity.

The Kasina is a fun way to experiment with many issues, but please seek professional care if needed.
    This is not medical advise.
Are you ambidextrous? Perhaps test out training yourself.
Perhaps try isolating hemispheric activity for comparison. Cover one ear and the opposite eye.
Hook up to the Kasina or try simple tasks.
Or maybe cover left ear and left eye while using the Kasina, see if you can feel a difference between the converse or the above.
Meditation will increase the communicative abilities between left and right hemispheres.
If you deem yourself to be overly analytical or overly emotional/sensitive try doing that which is/seems naturally hard to do.
The effort is more important than the emotional or critical reaction.
Hurry slowly, may your curiosity and attention guide you.

Appreciate you both very much in your thoughtful replies. I have been diagnosed with tinitus, and one doc encouraged use of hemisync/neuroprog, which has helped somewhat. It is really the only thing that has lessened it. Just a couple questions... Would Kassina be a great thing to use for 15hz usage, or is there a better mindplace product? Is there a product at mindplace that is close to neuroprogrammer? The isolation exercises and 15hz recommendation leave me hopeful of new ideas... Thanks to both of you again

Do you mean the Neuroprogrammer software from Transparent? Unless you own it already, that software is no longer available.

Very low pitch (<40 Hz) isochronic tones helps with tinnitus for some. I have worked with a Meniere' disease support group a couple of years back, and had some very positive feedback from some of the members.

I do own the software but it is a matter of having traded in computers, thus now I need to re-install and hope to hear back from them ... JoeV (or anyone with knowledge of the following subject), i have a question - isnt 15hz below human hearing level? What is the best software etc to use that would aid in creation of hz at such low frequencies? I have noticed many programs such as audacity only provide hz selections at pre-set rates. Once again, much gratitude for the guidance. My tinnitus was caused by a car accident many years ago, and living with extreme tinnitus has been a struggle. BWEI / Binaural has been the only thing that has helped and I am seeking deeper methods for using these systems to achieve brain sync

When we talk frequency in entrainment, it usually means beats per second, or in the case of photic stimulation, light flashes per second (Hz). However, in the case of auditory stimulation, it can also mean the pitch frequency of the carrier tone. For isochronic tones, which is a steady tone that is turned on and off rapidly, the carrier frequency (pitch) can be anywhere in the range of human hearing 20-20,000 Hz. Binaural beats are much trickier. For a binaural beat to be formed, a carrier tone is presented to one ear, and a second "off set" tone is presented to the other. The difference in tone frequencies will determine the beat frequency. For instance, if you present a 40 Hz tone to the right ear, and a 50 Hz tone to the left ear, a beat will be perceived in the brain at a rate of 10 Hz. Confused yet? It gets worse. Binaural beats are finicky on what tone frequencies are used, meaning the beat may not be too clear, or not be perceived at all at some pitches.
