    Question Questions on Procyon

It is not clearly stated in the description about the sounds.

Can you confirm which of these sounds can be produced:

    simple beats
    binaural beats
    binaural beats with surf
    dual binaural beats

    or any others?

Also, can you control the pitch independent of frequency?

I have experience of single colour red LED goggles. Can it be explained how different is the 3 colour LED goggles?

If purchasing from a UK seller at this time, can I be certain of getting the latest firmware version or some older problem version, as mentioned in the thread below?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

This post may help answer your questions about capabilities of the Procyon: http://www.mindplacesupport.com/foru...53&postcount=3

Pitch (the audible tones) and Frequency (the speed of the flashes) are separately controllable within the software.

The 3-colour goggles give you an unlimited number of colour possibilites, whereas the red-only goggles produce only red.

All Procyon should have the latest firmware, no matter where you purchase it.

Hopefully that answers your questions, but please post back if not or you have any further questions!

    -Andy.

I have used in past the Minlab Orion, which had a very poor quality sound.

Can the Procyon genuinely produce very low pitch tones?

I have read that frequencies can be up to 75hz. When listening to tones at this frequency, can you actually notice it, and what effect has it had on your mind? A super beta state?

I believe the lowest pitch is 60hz and the frequency of the pulses (flashes) can go up to 75hz. I'm not sure what running at that high a frequency would do.

Oh my. That is an old product. Good news, things have improved!

, and what effect has it had on your mind? A super beta state?
25 - 75 Hz is actually called a "Gamma" state. Short bursts at this frequency are said to improve perception and decision making. Exposure to more than short bursts of gamma can produce anxiety. It's a fine line ... kind of like the one between genius and lunatic.

Speaking of lunacy, here's something interesting. It has been found that schizophrenics are missing gamma frequency brainwaves.
