Thread: Best CDs to buy--AudioStrobe, TurboSonix, or other?

  1. Default What are the BEST CDs to use with the Procyon?--AudioStrobe...TurboSonix...?

    Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me what they think are the best strobe-encoded CDs available that I could use with the Procyon? I've just bought a Procyon L/S machine from MindPlace, which I will be using linked to a Neurotrek Digital Pro CES device.

I'm considering buying a set of five AudioStrobe CDs (like Journey of the Drums and Water Planet). But I'm wondering whether the TurboSonix (MindGear?) 3-CD sampler set is as good as AudioStrobe CDs, or are they better? These contain:

    Vol. I Moodscapes $16.95
Nature sounds combined with binaural signals and lights.
Track 1 Focused Energy (15:00) Birds and the sounds of nature waking up.
Track 2 Relax & Create (15:00) A gentle rainstorm to get your juices flowing.
Track 3 Easy Meditation (15:00) Let the waves wash your mind.
Track 4 Sound Sleep (25:00) Crickets chirping near a cozy cabin in the woods.

Vol. II Wake Up Brain! $16.95
Rhythmic music and lights to get you in gear!
    Track 1 Tropicalights (30:00)
    Track 2 Rise & Shine (10:21)
    Track 3 Coffee Break (16:18)

Vol. III Relax & Recharge $16.95
Soothing, hypnotic music and lights take you away.
    Track 1 Meditation/ Deep Relaxation (30:00)
    Track 2 Creativity Booster (15:00)
    Track 3 Power Nap/Quick Meditation (15:00)

I'd love to hear anyone's comments. Has anyone tried any of these, and what do you recommend is best? What I'm trying to find out is which CDs give people just a totally awesome experience and are simply the best out there.

Does anyone know if there are other CDs that are even better than these? What do you think? I'd love to know....cheers.

    Thank you
    Have a great day

My all-time favorite is the cd "Requiem" by Audiostrobe, though I haven't tried any other products (that are not Audiostrobe).

Tibetian Highlands, Journey of the Drums and Dreams in the Minds Eye have also been ordered quite frequently.

    Hey thanks Marisa!

I appreciate your opinion about these CDs, and intend to buy a few AudioStrobe CDs, including the ones you mention (I've heard from others that the ones you mention are meant to be really good....in that people just love them).

    Cheers!
