Thread: SpectraStrobe .Net Development

  1. Default SpectraStrobe .Net Development

    Hi there,
I am a software developer... I have a lot of personal interest in synthesia, music, and mind machines.
I developed a piece of software which turns midi input into colors on the screen.
Now I want to take this to the next level and have it send a SpectaStrobe signal to my Kasina Deep Vision glasses.

I understand that its just a high frequency pitch which Kasina turns into the color signal.
Are there any SpectraStrobe .Net libraries, or if not, do I simply need to sample the SpectraStrobe inaudible frequencies for the colors,
and just play them from my software in order to trigger the color change?

    Thanks Everyone
    Chris

    Hello Chris, and Welcome!

    Sounds like an interesting project.
This thread might give you some of the information you're looking for on the SpectraStrobe format, but Scott (neuroasis) would know if there's any .NET libraries already made. Perhaps send him a PM regarding this question.

    Good luck with your project!

And of course there are the three bits of software CraigT created, found here: http://mindplacesupport.com/kasina-support/ Mind Workstation is paid software, but provides lots of flexibility in creating SpectraStrobe sessions, as well as using a variety of biofeedback devices (including ThoughtStream) to control the lights and sound. In fact, their Engines are sufficiently complex that it would help to have programming experience to fully utilize them. :-) Keep us posted on your progress, Chris!

I am just playing around with sessions now, I found some SpectraStrobe files for sampling, so I am gonna play around with those next.
I will keep you up to date on my progress. thanks
