Default Utility to Find COM Ports

This utility will search your Windows computer and let you know which COM ports have the SiLabs driver installed. The Proteus USB cable and the Procyon (Rev 2 or 3) and ThoughtStream's USB chip uses the SiLabs driver so this is useful for figuring out what COM port to use with the MindPlace Proteus/Procyon/Thoughtstream software.

Just unzip the file and extract FindPorts.exe. It can be put in any folder on your hard drive. Double-click the file and it will run automatically. It will create a file called FindPorts.log which stores the same information that the program displays on the main screen.
