Thread: Colour Organ and SpectraStrobe manual options

  1. Default Colour Organ and SpectraStrobe manual options

Sorry, I meant to say colour organ feature.

I am only able to get the option of blue and green combination flashing lights when I use colour organ, am I not able to choose other colours when using colour organ?

And when I use spectrastrobe then I only have the option of how the session is originally created, when I use audiostrobe then I am able to change the light colour and flash options manually on the unit, it gives a variety of options but doesnt work on spectrastrobe, is that correct also?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Chris,
The ColorOrgan is a spectrum analyzer. It maps color to the frequencies in the audio. Blue with green overlap maps the low to mid. Red maps the high frequencies. Red shows up predominantly in material with drums, especially hi hats.

SpectraStrobe already has all of the colors mapped according to the session designer's intent. It can use all available color channels, premixed. AudioStrobe is the mode with mapping, which maps the 2 channel AudioStrobe stream to provide combinations of all 3 lights.

    Hope this helps,
    Scott
