Thread: Increasing intelligence with Kasina

  1. Question Increasing intelligence with Kasina

    Hi,

I have recently purchased a Kasina. I am interested in increasing my intelligence, in particular 'working memory' and creativity, by using the Kasina.
Can anyone suggest any session(s) that I could use that would be of benefit?

    thanks,

    Richard

Hello Richard and Welcome! Happy New Year as well.

To get you started, I'll link you some other discussions about memory which will help you decide what will work best for you.

Basically, working with Beta frequency sessions is the place to start when looking to improve learning or intelligence.
Try sessions in the "Accelerate" folder. See which work best for you and report back.

    Cheers!
    -Andy.

This recent paper http://airccse.org/journal/IJAIT/papers/2112ijait03.pdf draws fairly stark conclusions that alpha band power can be used as a measure of intelligence. A reasonable approach based on this would introduce stimulation to increase alpha.

Work within the research group sponsored by MindPlace (Synetic Systems) called Synchromed explored a protocol for grade point average increase using AVS and biofeedback. This work was supervised by Tom Budyzinski. The write up is here: http://mindplacesupport.com/files/41...nhancement.pdf

Part of the protocol involved encouraging a movement of the primary alpha frequency upward toward the higher end of the spectrum. (ie 13hz)
