    Default very specific session lengths...

    Hi -

    So I'm creating this series of 20 minute sessions
    for the Kasina ...

    And sometimes my audio comes in a little long...
    like 20:04

    I cannot figure out how to set up MWS for a 20:04 session...

    Help!

    Thanks.... ==>Jim

    PS.... the Kasina + MWS is truly a wonderful system...

    MWS makes this really easy and with nice options...

    The simplest way is to simply change the length in the Session Duration field. You can type the desired length in or pick 20 minutes from the list. Here is a screenshot:

    You can also use the Scale Session and Content Tool to set an exact length. In this case any nodes you have created will be stretched or shrunk to fit. Really a super nice feature.

    Now for your specific case of 20 minutes and 4 seconds, MWS formats time as a floating point decimal. Thus you will want to divide 4 into 60... 4/60 = 0.067, so 20.06666667 ish... However, you can skip all that hairy math and just enter 20:04 in the Length field and smartly MWS will sort it out..

    There are more ways too. These come into play if you have already created session content and you want to scale it back or forward to match a sound file. It is rather involved to explain and better for a video really. Tell me if what I have posted satisfies your need or if you want to know more.

    for some reason I (mistakenly) thought I was unable to type 20:04 into the session length box...
    ... i will try again tomorrow... but wanted to thank you tonight.

    MWS is truly a fine product... Kasina is out of the world good...
    and you, dear Sir, are just simply wonderful with your assistance!
