Loving the kasina, thanks for a versatile and powerful product!

I have a feature request of possible. Is it possible to associate an mp3 of choice with any session on the kasina on the fly?

Do you mean with the sessions in the KBS folder? Or SpectraStrobe sessions?

If KBS, then that feature is in the works and upcoming. If SpectraStrobe (or AudioStrobe) then it is not possible as the control signals for the lights are actually embedded in the audio file itself.

Thanks for your question and I am glad that you are enjoying the Kasina.

You can do this now, using the AUX in connection on the Kasina.
Plug the headphone jack of your mp3 player into the AUX input on the Kasina using the supplied 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable.
Go to SETTINGS/AUDIO on the Kasina and adjust the AUX/INT Mix until you only hear the AUX signal.
This will work with any session on the Kasina.

Yes, that is true. Interesting about adjusting the AUX mix to full and essentially muting the internal audio. I suppose it would still trigger the lights as it is really just the headphone mix. I haven't tried that but sounds likely to work and Andy says it does, so it must.

Andy, you should write a blog post on this as it is a nice little hack.

    Hi Sunny,
Have you tried audiobooks with the ColorOrgan? It is pretty interesting. Mainly green gets triggered but sometimes the other colors too.

Hold the phone. This actually isn't working on FW1.04. Internal sounds are not muted for some reason.
I'll have to dig into this a little more.

It SHOULD work, but it doesn't currently.
