Thread: Dehydration Causing Stress

  1. Default Dehydration Causing Stress

Hello, today I just could not relax using my thoughtstream or any other technique. I tried for almost an hour and left probably more stressed than I began out of frustration. Then I took a sip of a water bottle near where I was sitting and realized, wow I am really thirsty. Anyway I ended up drinking about 3 and a half water bottles till the thirst was gone, and almost immediately felt better. I gave the thoughtstream one more try and was able to drop my stress level 300% as opposed to 0%!! Anyway in these hot summer months stay hydrated, sometimes, especially for older people the thirst mechanism doesn't work right and you can end up becoming dehydrated without even knowing. Here is an article about dehydration and stress.

Anyway just thought I would share. God bless!

    Thanks Cody,

Really good point. Dehydration can cause all kinds of problems that are not an obvious link. Glad to hear that your TS was useful after all.
