Default Which NP3 program to bundle with Proteus/Procyon

    Hello Everyone,

I would like some help on making a few decisions on which products to bundle with what. I know there are many users on this forum that use NP3 and MWS and so, hopefully you can tell me which products you'd like to see bundled together.

    1. NP3 - Regular or Ultimate?

    2. Does anyone use NP3 with the Thoughtstream?

    3. Any thoughts on MWS - would you like to see this product bundled with one of the machines?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

I've been using both Procyon and NP3 Ultimate for over a year now - really like them together!

I'd recommend you bundle NP3 Ultimate as Ultimate allows you to create your own sessions NP3 Regular doesn't. My original idea was to use Procyon as an AudioStrobe device - as NP3 by itself is just sound (though it can flicker your PC/Notebook screen, thats just OK, not as good as glasses). However I did like some of the sessions that came with ther Procyon and ended up creating a few sessions with the Procyon editor.

I recieved Thoughtstream late last year and it certainly does enhance my NP3 sessions, but not dramatically so. ThoughtStream has benefits as a standalone unit which I believe complement AVS sessions. How? You can use AVS passively or interactively. Just relaxing or daydreaming during an AVS session is passive; interactive would be utilizing, during an AVS session, breathing exercises (like yoga pranayam), conscious physical relaxation exercises, or intense focus on sound/light while consciously avoiding daydreaming and mental noise. As I'm more the interactive type the ThoughtStream has helped accelerated my growth there.

Based on my positive experience combining NP3-ThoughtStream in a session I upgraded to MindWorkstation a couple of months ago. The main reason is I want to purchase (soon) an Emotiv EPOC NeuroHeadset. If Thoughtstream-NP3 worked well, this combo should be even better. At least I really hope so as the cost of each isn't pocket change!

For Procyon integration right now I'd have to say NP3 Ulitmate is just right. MWS appears to be for serious research, and it involves a steep learning curve to create MWS sessions that are more sophisticated then you could create with NP3 Ultimate.

The Thoughtstream would be a good candidate to bundle with MWS. Together you can do true biofeedback sessions, play biofeedback games, as well as Scotts' genius Thoughtstream Controlled sessions http://www.mindplacesupport.com/foru...Happy-Holidays! With the Professional version, you can graph the Thoughtstreams' data. The products really complement each other.

Folks interested in MWS are probably more experienced in BWE, so they would most likely already have a mind machine.
