    Default Isochronic files

    Hi,
Just received my Proteus a couple of days ago and absolutely love it.Really enjoy playing AudioStrobe files.Just found some free isochronic mp3's online. My question is what is the easiest way to sync the lights to the isochronic mp3's?Any suggestions appreciated.

You would need to know the specific frequencies that are used to create the isochronic beats and their timing. Light triggers need to be especially encoded in the audio stream. However, since isochronic tones are audible you can use metronome software that will let you 'tap tempo' to get pretty close to the range. Most people tap out quarter notes so you will likely have to double the tempo. Once you have found the tempo you can figure out the approximate frequency of the beats. Then you would make a custom session to create a light track.

A little bit advanced but doable.

Thanks for the suggestion neuroasis.I have the AS Color Organ,so I converted the isochronic mp3 to a wav file and then encoded it into an Audio Strobe file.Seems to be working OK.

If the contours are audible enough then yes this would work to a degree..
