Hearing Aid Or amplifier

Hi All,
What is your view about using hearing aid to amplify the sound coming from procyon or other mind machines. Recently,I was using an Ipod/Iphones application,which amazed me. I was able to hear far away sound which our ears are not easily able to receive.Possible, we can hear more deeper sounds with like this application or devices. Please share your thoughts on this.

So you want to use a hearing aid to amplify external sounds and use those with the Procyon? Or do you find the Procyon internal sounds not loud enough and you want to amplify them?
