Procyon and Hemi-Sync

Hello again,
I have another question for the group. I have several hemi-sync CDs that I have used for meditative and relaxation purposes (http://www.hemi-sync.com/). This is a system that uses multilayered audio signals, which act together to create a resonance that is reflected in unique brainwave forms characteristic of specific states of consciousness. I was wondering if anyone had tried using these in combination with the Procyon by hooking up an auxiliary CD player. The CDs wouldn't be synchronized with the lights which is why I was curious if anyone had any opinions about this.

Hi Brian,

I can think of reasons why it may work or may not work. I think the best thing to do is give it a try and see what results you get. Each brain is different and each brain responds to things in a slightly different way. If it's not harmful (and this is not) then go for it - see where you can take it and then come back and tell us about it.

Thaks for the reply, Marisa. I'll give it a try. I am rather impressed with the device and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm also having a lot of fun reading other posts to gain more background knowledge behind the science.
