Thread: Ganzfeld (meaning?) and multiple waveforms make Procyon better than Proteus?

  1. Default Ganzfeld (meaning?) and multiple waveforms make Procyon better than Proteus?

What is the Ganzfeld capability and what is it like? Also, does it mean you can turn off flickering too? What are the multiple waveforms like visually?

A Ganzfeld is a field of pure color which does not flicker.

Here is a thread talking about how to make a Ganzfeld session.

Here is a couple of Wikipedia entries on Ganzfelds. They are often used in Psi or psychic experiments. There is a very interesting phenomenon of visual perception that occurs when viewing solid, unchanging fields of color. The brain attempts to compensate for lack of stimuli by creating internal projections or impressions.
