just got Proteus

I just got my Proteus in the mail and have had a couple of goes with the diffrent presets. Great stuff!

Just seen the new Procyon being advertised and am a little miffed that I didn't know about it earlier as I would have bought one over the Proteus. Anyone here have a Procyon and has or used the Proteus to compare. The Procyon worth the extra money? I do like the sound of the new 255 shades of each color and some of the other goodies.

Your Proteus will provide you with as good of results (brain entrainment) as the Procyon as both machines use binaural beats and target similar brain wave frequency goals in their programs.

Since you just got your Proteus, why not use it for a while - let's say six months and then re-evaluate if you want to upgrade. You can always resell your Proteus later.

Keep in mind that Mindplace is continuing to develop new products , so maybe you'll decide to wait and see what the next generation of mind machine is and get one of those.
