Proteus OS update

Hi Andy
If I am going by the Proteus OS 2006..........is it worth my while downloading a more up to date version? Has the sound improved or anything like that?

Hello!

What is the OS version that your Proteus is currently running? The OS version is shown by the number that flashes on the LED screen of the Proteus when you first power it on.

Whether you update depends on a few things.
First, do you need or want any of the additional features from the later updates?
Here's a summary:

Rev 2.5:

• New lowest allowable flash rate for the lights. (0.1 Hz)
• Pressing the 'select' switch in AS mode toggles display on and
  off.
• Pressing the 'start/stop' switch in AS mode toggles the 'always
  on' mode.

Rev 3.0:

Fixes decimal points coming on at session changes (useful if you like to run the Proteus with the LED display off)

Rev 3.1:

Next, have you installed the Editor and have it running? If not, do you have the cables needed? Do you have a Windows PC? Do you feel up to installing and using the Editor?
