    Default Trigger Series: Brainstorm Activation

This program represents a bit of 'out of the box' thinking concerning how to use AVS devices. With the Ganzfeld capabilities of the Mindplace Procyon and the colored leds we are able to create isolation and trigger programs.

The concept and implementation are very simple. A reddish-yellow Ganzfeld slowly ramps up in brightness while an ascending binaural tone cycles Theta frequencies from 4 to 8hz. This lasts for 20 seconds. This is followed by a short beep and green flash which acts as a trigger.

In the current program this is looped 24 times for a total duration of 8 minutes and 25 seconds.

The method is an extension of the concept used in the Photoreading program of providing timed triggers that we can use for the purposes of brainstorming, memory retrieval, mantra, self-programming... pretty much whatever would benefit from sensory isolation and light and sound triggers.

Different durations can be easily set by changing the length of the first segment and the number of loops.

This one in particular could be good for activating and recalling information after a Photoreading session. At the high pitch prompt and green flash, recall a detail from the book you have Photoread. It doesn't matter how small the detail. Here are some trivial examples:

    "It was a short book."
    "It had a red cover."
    "The author's name was".
    "Chapter 10 was about."
    "The main theme was.."

Anything. Just at each prompt...say something and dig as deep as you can.

You will be pleasantly surprised how much information you can pull forth. I would also suggest doing this aloud and into a recorder for a permanent record to build confidence and review later. By verbalizing you are bringing the information into conscious awareness, making associations, and aiding memory recall. Plus, a record helps you overcome doubt and reinforce the idea that Photoreading works.

For an exercise in free-form creativity you could also use this program for brainstorming. At the prompt, state an idea...any idea...and keep at it.

The more you work with it the better and easier it will become. This method is not about 'eye-candy' or unusual brain states (although I love that stuff). It is about methodical, disciplined self mining and getting the most daily use from the tools we have purchased.

As always, feedback is the key to improvement and is much appreciated.

Hope that you find this useful.
