Procyon unit not responding

I have Windows XP and have loaded the driver and editor using the Procyon setup application. Then I plugged the Procyon into the PC and the Found New Hardware wizard ran and everything looked fine, but when I went to update the OS from my 2.1.4 to the 2.1.6 in the editor, it told me:

"The Procyon unit is not responding. Check to see if the unit is on. Check the USB connection."

Help!

P.S. I've tried three different USB cables and different USB ports, but the same message.

Have you checked the Set Com Port setting under Serial Communication in the Editor to see that it matches the COM port of the Procyon?

You can find the COM port that the Procyon is on in the entry created under "Ports (COM & LPT)" in Device Manager, or you can just try all the possible settings in the Editor to see which one works.

If you need help finding that entry, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

No problem at all. The editor is a little tricky until you're used to it. Hopefully the next version will automatically find the com port.
