Thread: Trouble Creating Album

  1. Default Trouble Creating Album

    Hello,

I'm trying to create an album that contains all the Procyon Sessions (1-49), A user created track at 50 (Marissa's MB concentrate) and all the Proteus Sessions (stored at 51-99).

I've renamed every session so it starts with a number (01-99) so it will be easy to reference with the online documentation. I've created a Prb file in notepad listing all the tracknames.

The Problem: When I try to upload using Procyon editor and replace my existing tracks I only get sessions 0-49.

I've attached the folder with all the files I'm using as a zip file. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. I've previously added files to my other files to my procyon (synchromuse and regular Procyon ) and they have worked fine.

Could someone please tell me what I've done wrong?

    Assistance would be much appreciated.

You didn't do anything wrong that I can see, except that those sessions will fill more memory than the Procyon has.

The number of sessions that will fit in the Procyon must total less than 32kb. Depending on the complexity of each session, that will vary the number of sessions that can be loaded.

Using the sessions list that you made, I was able to load the first 79 sessions into my Procyon, which filled it. The 80th one would not load.

When you try to load more sessions than will fit in the memory of the Procyon, you will get an error message letting you know.

Did you see that message? Did you select "over-write" or "append"?

    -Andy.

I did see the message. It said I would use "more memory" and gave a quantity, but said nothing about capacity, or that the operation wouldn't or didn't complete.

    I selected over-write.

I used the Editor to upgrade the OS, would that have re-set the sessions to factory defaults? Since then I've only had 49, prior to attempting to add sessions I had 51 (previously downloaded two sessions).

Thank you for looking into my problem.

Try this file and see if you can load these sessions. Use over-write.

Ok, so everything is fine then. You need to pick and choose your favourite sessions that add up to under 32kb total.

If you're still working with Albums, try out the Librarian I wrote and see how it works for you.
