My computer dont detect my Procyon
I have a computer with windos vista and its doesnt detetec muy Procyon so I cant use the Procyon Editor nor MindWorkstation. I have install the editor 2.1 version after removing I have install the edtor 2.2 and it is the same. I have the stop from the post to install drivers for vista but nothing.
Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
When you say "doesn't detect" do you mean that you don't even get the "new hardware found" wizard when you plug in the USB cable to the Procyon and into your PC?
Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
Windows tells me New hardware has found but when I put the folder with the drivers windows tells me No drivers found. So I cant put the new S.O. and the mindworkstation dont detect my procyonr nor procyon editor. My procyon dosnt work with the PC
Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
Sorry for the trouble.
Which Procyon do you have? (Rev1 or Rev2)
The Rev1 does not automatically power itself on when plugged into the USB, the Rev2 does.
You can also tell by the OS number that comes on the screen when you power it up. A Rev1 will say something like 1.7.4 and the Rev2 will say something like 2.1.0.

Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
Are you running Vista or XP?
If you're running Vista, did you follow these instructions step-by-step? http://www.mindplacesupport.com/foru...read.php?t=558

Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
I have vista. I did the instructions step by step but when I open the drivers folder vista tells me the drivers havent found.
Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
Hmm...
What are the contents of the folder: C:\Program Files\Procyon AVS\ProcyonCP2102Drivers
Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
I extract in this folder Procyon CP2102Drivers.exe with winrar. They are 21 items unzipped.

Re: My computer dont detect my Procyon
Strange...
Not sure what the problem is.
Here's the drivers by themselves - unzip the archive and (with your Procyon NOT connected) run "ProCP210xVCPInstaller.exe", after it finishes installing, plug in your Procyon.
Let me know if that works.
