Re: Unsupported File Format
It could be a problem with the SD card.
Try another card.
Re: Unsupported File Format
If factory and "some" files play ok, your card should be fine.
Likely the converters you're using are doing something non-standard to the files. I've seen it time and time again. I use AVS4YOU and it generally puts out a proper mp3 with it's default settings. (I just change the bitrate to 320kbs CBR)
If you have a short mp3 that you can dropbox to me I'll analyze it and find out what setting is wrong, if you like.

Re: Unsupported File Format
The Kasina can only play MP3's with the following formats:
Channels: Stereo, Joint-stereo
Bitrates: 64kbs to 320kbs
Codecs: ABR/CBR/VBR
Sample Rates: 44.1kHz, 48kHz
Sample Size: 16bit
Re: Unsupported File Format
Everyone, I want to thank you all for your quick replies. It turns out, my SD card is just fine. The audio files in question were mono (I didn't make them) and I had to manually convert it to Stereo. After I did this, they worked.
Thank you again!
Re: Unsupported File Format
Excellent. I guess maybe I should make a sticky showing the correct MP3 formats for the Kasina!
