Kasina KBS v2 format
The latest Kasinas now come with Firmware 2.xx which supports an enhanced version of the current KBS format. The KBS format was first introduced when the Kasina came to market.
The KBS format is an internally-synthesized format much like the Proteus and Procyon (and predecessors) used to create sound and light sessions. The version 2 of the KBS format adds additional light control possibilities which make the KBS format an excellent platform to use when creating sessions that are in the style of the Proteus and Procyon.
With the new format is also a new editor which allows creation and editing of KBS v1 and v2 sessions. Note that to play KBS v2 sessions, you will need a Kasina with FW 2.xx (where xx is some number). A simple update of the Kasina FW is all that's needed to support this new version.
There will be more documentation, articles and videos showing the power of the version 2 format and the regarding the new Editor coming soon.
Visit the Kasina Support site to download the new editor. There are some tutorial videos on the new editor on that page as well.
Any questions or problems with the Editor, please ask questions here!

Re: Kasina KBS v2 format
Just downloaded KBS Editor v2. Looks great! Any way to mix in a sound file? Can I use Audacity somehow?

Re: Kasina KBS v2 format
Thank you, Brian!
You can mix in audio using the AUX or USB input and playing the track on your music player or computer. The Kasina cannot play mp3 + KBS at this time, although we are researching that as a possibility in the future.

Are there any tutorial kasina videos that teach in depth creating sessions? The ones you have on the website just show how to use the software not how to create sessions like some examples of how to use pitch, waveform, phase etc.
