Hey ya'll!!
Been using the Kasina and GanzFrames for about 3 years now and have always loved the experience.
Recently my frames broke and I opted to upgrade to the new DV goggles and wow theyre beautiful!
Sadly, my eyes get irritated from using them (eyes open) after a session. My eyes are fine when theyre closed but otherwise they get irritated :(
Was wondering if I was doing something wrong? Or maybe I need to update firmware??? Anyone else have this issue?
Irritated in the sense of dryness for instance? You may want to try eye drops before and after the session. Also try the 'half-closed' eyes technique to strike a balance between color and brightness. You can also turn the brightness down. Our eyes have an amazing ability to quickly adjust to different conditions so you can still perceive the beautiful range of colors with reduced intensity.

I tried only 2-3 times the Deepvision Ganzframes as I also find them a little irritating and prefere the standard goggles. Though "irritating" not in the sense of dryness as Scott suggests, on the opposite, they get more watery and I have to "struggle" a bit at times to keep them open. Or are watery eyes a natural compensation for dry eyes?
If I turn the brightness down, then the visuals are not that nice anymore...
